Ooo, Pratchett and Gaiman (and the union of Pratchett and Gaiman that is Good Omens!). I don't love everything they've written, but when they are on, they're ON. I still remember the first time someone put a Pratchett into my hands; I was like, I didn't know books could BE this good!

So, you know, I've already read them, pretty much, but for anyone else reading this: YES SO MUCH YES.
