Points to consider:
I think this clearly indicates that you should revise the Note to Self, although what it should actually say is still something a mystery to me. Perhaps "Note to Self: TFV is a small but occasionally potent ripple in the currents of space-time and causes minor disruptions in probability and the nature of causality; approach with caution" would cover it?
- My car hardly even got wet.
- Best Beloved and I once stood on a corner in Anaheim and watched while a car burned. And we were standing there when it caught fire, too, so I can tell you there was no reason for it. (We watched the whole thing; turns out there's something amazingly hypnotizing about a car burning in a hotel parking lot. By the time they put it out, a small but exceedingly appreciative crowd had collected, including a number of Disneyland-bound kids who thought this was way better.) The key word, of course, is stood. We weren't in a moving vehicle. We were walking.
- Also? I was not in the car when it got hit by the Frito-Lay truck.
- And no one has proved that the psychic reader thing was anything but a coincidence.
