Thank you for the rec! :D Far Afield is one of those stories I wrote 'cause it was just pestering me to death, even though I assumed no one else in the fandom would be interested in the underlying theme. The Great Looming Darkness issue (what an apt description) is, I think, one of several things that deflect people away from SG-1 and over to the shinier SGA side of the street. But I'm intrigued by the complications that arise when duty comes up against domesticity. Anyway, I'm sorry for nattering. But thank you. I was very surprised to see the story there.
