And uh, can I add a suggestion? For the love of little fishes, people - research lube! No every oily substance is a good one, you know? Some of them contain things that I wouldn't want on my hands for five minutes, let alone inside/on delicate parts.

OMG yes. I agree so very, very much.

I actually already ranted on that one, and so far I've been reasonably good about not doing multiple rants on one topic. (Eventually I'm going to have to, though. Once is not enough for ranting about inappropriate lube and the word cum and, oh good Christ, apostrophe and comma misuse.)

(I may have been mentally scarred by two fics this morning, one after another, which involved...inappropriate imo substances. And I read them before 9am which didn't help matters either)

I. Wow. I just - there's no comfort I can offer to you. Encountering one of those stories is tough, but we're FF readers. We've learned to cope. But two on the same day is seriously unfair. And two before nine in the morning is...well, you deserve, at minimum, five pieces of comment porn. I have reviewed the case, and that is my finding. (I'd offer to do one of the five myself, but, um. I can't write porn, comment or otherwise.)
