I pretty much recommend everything on the Less Than Legendary Journeys (where this story is located), if you want more HtLJ fic. Martha Wilson, Randi DuMois or Naomi Prince are my personal favorites.
(My own stories are on there, too, but I'm not trying to backhandedly rec myself, I swear. *g* This site kept me in the fandom and started me writing in the first place...)
Yay! Seasons two and three! Woot! Those are both very good, and your BB should be happy. :-)
I need to know - when does the show go bad?
Good question. Tough to answer. *ponders*
Personally, I'd say season six, the last season which only had eight episodes. The production values went way down, the scripts were pretty bad and joyless, though at least the series ended on a happy note and not utter gloom, as in Xena. It's just very forgettable.
Some people would say season five. I don't know how spoilered you want to be, so I'm being vague, but season five was a dealbreaker for many people - they left the fandom after the first few eps aired. A lot of the episodes disappointed and angered me too, but on the other hand, the first two or three episodes of the Dahak arc had some amazing stuff in it, and it was a dramatic departure from the 'lighter' touch of earlier seasons. Plus it was the inspiration for some of the best fanfic in the fandom, IMO.
