This is a comment to offer my Trek knowledge wherever required (I was raised on TNG/DS9/VOY and some TOS reruns and movies 1-9, but not 10, oddly; even my parents who faithfully watched all the episodes of everything else gave up on ENT, so I feel okay about ignoring it), although it is not as sprawling and comprehensive as melannen's. And also a comment to say \TREK!/
And to suggest that you read Spock's World, which can be had in Kindled format from Amazon, because it is my favoritest (yes, not a word) Star Trek novel. And then if you're hungry for more, the other Diane Duane ones (The Wounded Sky, Doctor's Orders, the Rihannsu books) are also awesome - but for maximum Spock, read Spock's World. <3 Spock <3
