Well, we have a dog and two cats, but they are fairly low-shed, so it works out all right. I don't know what people with really sheddy dogs do (hard floors, I guess).

I have these vague fantasies of throwing caution to the wind in about fifteen years, when the kids have moved out. Look out, 2025! I will be irresponsible then, whoo yeah.
