So, I have been resisting the Highlander fandom for, oh, years, because its canon is long and intimidating and I have this obsessive need to watch/read ALL of the extant canon before I start reading fic.* But your description of Methos and Duncan really really really makes me want to get into it, because you make Methos sound like, oh, Jack Sparrow, or Spike, or any number of incredibly fun characters I love whose mottoes seem to be "I could have morals, but that sounds suspiciously like work." Is this accurate?


*I've been resisting Smallville for the same reason, plus I've seen exactly three episodes of it, because they had the Flash in them and I am a sucker for the Flash, and they were all terrible.
