Yeah, our basil is getting nommed on by snails quite a bit, too. (Normally it's too dry for much snail-on-basil action, but this year we are mysteriously having actual RAIN.) And your growing season is probably behind ours, since you're further north. My garden is a preview of what yours will look like in a few months!
