That's actually one of the many reasons I don't do the TV thing (except, of course, on the orders of fanofall, who could persuade a stone to watch Sports Night); the people who write the shows clearly do not agree with me on the whole humor v. embarrassment thing. Fandom's actually an incredibly relief when compard to most mass-media entertainment offerings.
