I am charmed, though also perturbed, because this post encourages the part of my brain that has already worked out what the big slash pairings would be if British climbing history was a fandom, and while I have no moral objection to RPF, I have a cognitive problem with it, namely that my brain cannot really cope with people being both real and fictional in my head without short-circuiting.
