While in general I agree with you, some of your list are quite culturally specific (which might be the right cultural group for the characters). In particular - water in a bottle, and use of a sippy cup as the transition to drinking from cup.
Plus, either I have a very unusual sample, or babies sleeping through at 16 weeks is quite rare, unless you are using the 'medical'* definition of five unbroken hours while it is dark outside - many of the people I know talk of children not starting to sleep through until they stop napping, which at least in my case was about eighteen months (all three of them. One of my sisters and I were apparently that kind of sleeper as well).
