Thanks for reccing Sam's story. I hadn't read it before, though I love his work, and it really did make you feel that it could always be worse. *Sniffle* Poor Remus, though I agree--it's definitely a Lupin-as-I-see-him too.

FF writers are better than anyone the canon's got these days. I know! I was actually a bit disappointed in OotP because I'd read some FF that did fifth year so much better. The things FF does to you . . . It's a disease, dammit!
