This is quite late, but check out [livejournal.com profile] plaidder's website -- she wrote a sweet, engaging Holmes/Watson (one of the first on the internet, I believe) called "Absurdly Simple" (as well as two sequels).

Aw, Holmes/Watson. Anytime people talk about slash starting in the '70s, I wonder how that can be when Holmes and Watson were around. Surely women wrote it and stuffed it under their mattresses.
