Dear Santa -

Thank you for being willing to write in one or more of my stranger fandoms. I love you already, just for that.

I don't think I need to tell you anything much about my reading preferences - I mean, there's a whole LJ here covering them in revoltingly exact detail - but for the record: I prefer happy endings to sad, humor to angst, and - if I really have to choose - character to plot. I rejoice in good English usage. I love funny stories and sharp dialog. But I'm extremely flexible, especially in the fandoms I requested. Everything I listed is something I've longed to see for years, so I will be pleased with whatever you choose to write. And while I imagine it's pretty obvious that I'm hoping for slash, I read and love gen and het, too.

My big fiction traumas: I can't handle animal death or harm at all. I don't think it's likely in any of the fandoms I requested, but just in case, I thought you should know. Also, I prefer no rape, death, or torture, and I'd like warnings if those things happen.

But, really, I wanted to write this mostly to let you know that I'm already grateful, and that I will be happy with my gift simply because you wrote it for me. To sum: write what you want to write. If you're happy with it, I will be, too.
