Heh. I'm glad you liked what I rec'ed, and what I haven't rec'ed. I'll see what I can find to give you more. What's your email?
Smallville...Smallville is a fandom that had a wonderful first flush of fandom, that sort of downturned there for awhile and coined the term BNF--Big Name Fan--and then died out as the show got, well, less good. There's still a good number of people in the fandom, but I think it's not nearly active as it once was. At one point it was about 3/4th the insanity of current Harry Potter fandom, but it's far more chill now.
Anyway. Some of the best fanfiction in fandom was produced there, by some of the best writers in fandom. It's a complete twist on the old dynamic of Superman and Lex Luthor, because both of the characters are so young and (most importantly) because the show hasn't defined their morals in a completely clear-cut way. These characters, this Clark and Lex, are more mutable than the icons they're based on, which certainly makes for a more interesting dynamic for the two (making the major slash pairing) and a looser personal dynamic.
Plus, they're pretty.
Sports Night is a fandom I love, but it's not like Smallville. Smallville is where I go to get my creepy villain-AU fix, my happy futurefic fic, my oh-my-god hot sex wow fix, and some of my favorite femslash fic on top of that.
