due South is actually good enough to watch, in both the first two seasons and the shortened Ray Kawalski years. Isn't it out on DVD in Britain? Am I imagining that? I would find it hard to read dS fanfiction without knowing the source material well - there are certain dialogue cadences and conventions established in the series that make almost no sense in fanfic without seeing them first.
