for me, the SGA break up story that immediately came into my head was Oblivious by astolat.
Oh, Oblivious. It is a wonderful story, and I'm definitely going to rec it. (Probably sometime after everyone else has; I was never going to be first, so I might as well be last and catch a new wave of fans.) And, god, you're right, it's a fabulous not-sad breakup story. I wonder why I don't have it filed under that category? (Though I totally stand by my current rec, too. That breakup scene killed me. Almost literally; should never have read it on a bad asthma day.)
