i have so far fedback [is that the past tense for feedback, or did i just verb a noun and you are going to come chop my head off?]

Hee. I hereby promise no violence to those who feedback, as opposed to sending feedback. But I try to avoid using it that way in part 'cause of that very problem - I have no clue what the past tense would be. If you figure it out - or if, you know, Samuel Johnson drops you a note about it - please let me know.

i have so far left feedback for all the vids i've seen

Wow. That's impressive; I know remembering to leave feedback (and thinking of something to say) is hard, so - go you.

and i've gotten #2 and #3 responses so far

Cool. More data. (I should totally have made this Project open to other participants. That would've been so cool, and I didn't think of it 'til just now.)

Just in general, I'm finding vidders are really good about responding to feedback - I suspect I got so many non-responses in the VFP because a) I write too much, b) I often find vids in weird and non-LJ-related places, and c) in some cases the vids were old enough that the fb address might have been out of date.

And the Withnail and I vid - was that P.R. Zed's? Because if so, yay! She's a fabulous vidder and it's a great vid (even for someone who doesn't know the source, which I don't). And if not - um, do you happen to remember whose it was, or where you found it? I've only ever seen the one of those.

if someone took the time to make something which entertained me and it's a freebie, it's only good manners to at least thank that person - the same for fanfic or pictures or scans from magazines.

Too right. Of course, I'm being a total hypocrite here, because I don't consistently leave fb or comments for creators in any fannish endeavor, but I totally know that I should. And I admire the people who manage to do it regularly. And, seriously, thank you. You're covering for me and for a lot of other people who are scared of leaving feedback, or are sometimes just too exhausted or busy or wallowing in misery or whatever to do it. You keep the fannish goods coming!
