Is it wrong that when I read this I imagine a sequel

Nope! I love it when stories have that effect, so I'm flattered that you feel that way about it.

I keep thinking I might write a sequel too. I've had several possible ideas, but the story seems to have taken on its own life, which makes me a bit tentative about going back to it.
