You know, now I'm tempted to do a list of Things Fandoms Have Taught Me. Like, DCU taught me the true power of canon denial ("Not happening not happening NEVER HAPPENED!"). And Smallville taught me the value of the fast forward button, and also the importance of having a Best Beloved who is willing to take one (or, okay, a whole bunch) for the team. And SGA taught me that fannish synergy is a force that could easily recharge a ZPM.
