I adored the timelapse travel segments, especially the bit when the Traveller dropped his Beloved’s photograph it oxidized and disintergrated—that was very cool. But then came the Big!Action!Climax! in which the attacking Morlocks were turned into dust, at which point my friend had to hold me down so I wouldn’t leap onto my armrests, shake a fist at the screen, and bellow, “THE MACHINE DOES NOT ACTUALLY SPEED UP TIME, YOU MORONS, IT JUST APPEARS TO DO SO FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF A PASSENGER TRAVELLING INTO THE FUTURE ARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHH!!!11!!eleventy!”
