I know. There's not a lot of FF coming out for Oz, is there? And, really, I suppose that shouldn't make me sad, because wow is Oz too powerful for me. (I am the queen of happy endings. So, you know, not a good fit.) But it does make me sad, because I loved the fandom even though it kicked the shit out of me (emotionally speaking) on a regular basis.
It is definitely a Wrong Thing that there is only one Lawrence of Arabia rec in these parts so I must make you go read "Moth to the Flame".
Ah. Well, the RPS thing comes with an exception, which is as follows: if the people in question lived before ~1950, RPF about them doesn't squick me. They still feel like characters, even though they were real, if that makes sense. And Lawrence - Jesus. He's definitely got that larger-than-life tragic hero feel, so - I'm all for Lawrence slash. Yay! And thank you.
The Money Book for the Young, Fabulous, and Broke by Suze Orman.
Well, okay, no, not my kind of book. The sad part is, Best Beloved has probably already read it. Yes. I hooked up with someone who reads finance and management books for fun - oh, for work, too, but she enjoys it! I've seen her! This is wrong. I believe this strongly. I mean, I support her in her twisted ways, but - yeah, I've thought about an intervention a few times.
Harold & Maude? Which obviously isn't anime and I only am really mentioning it because I was thinking of renting it this weekend.
Oh, wow. I rented that a lot when I was in high school. And I made Best Beloved watch it shortly after we met, I think.
