Actually, I also suggested your vid for that Instrumental vidshow at Vividcon. My reasons included: that I happened to see it not long before the suggestion period, that YnM was more popular with Vividcon's audience than most other anime and that the music was unusual -- Vanessa Mae is playing over a synthesized orchestra (??) -- anyway, the sound wasn't "straight classical" and I knew that Barkley was looking for variety within the types instrumental of music she was using. Also, I played violin for 10 years, so am a bit partial to the whole violin aspect. :)

It was a good fit for that vidshow for several reasons. I only know why I suggested it, not why Barkley chose it -- but she worked really hard on that vidshow and considered many, many vids. She wouldn't have included it if she didn't like it, nor would I have suggested it if I didn't like it.
