This is so very true that I recently started a series of advice-like posts titled "Great Ways to Get People to Not Read Your Story," based on the embarrassments I've seen passing as story headers.

See, and I am very grateful for this, because otherwise I might have to. I just - sometimes it gets to be too much, you know? And then the ranting starts. And, really, it's better that I not go down that road.

It's like they WANT me to pass them by!

I tend to assume that's the case, because the alternate viewpoint - that this is all unintentional on their part - generally makes me want to weep helplessly into my oatmeal. And oatmeal is not as good when salty.
