Then I took a deep breath and said, "Okay, this is what I want to use the camera for, and this is my price range, and this camera, at current prices in available stores, seems to be the best option after I've narrowed down my parameters a LOT." But I still went to the store and played around to check that it was a comfortable fit in my hand, etc.
