I actually watched dS back in the day, when it aired on CBS, and then when the entire series finally aired on TNT, I saw the Ray K episodes. I wasn't seduced into the fanfiction until someone recommended "Eight Sessions", though. I read it and embarked upon a serious fling. I worked my way through every recommendation list I could find. All the stories you mention are excellent, but my One True Love in dS is Speranza's Chicago's Most Wanted (http://trickster.org/speranza/CMWanted.html). Something about this story fills me with unholy glee - the humor, the sexiness, the brilliance of Fraser. *rowr*
