I'm not sure but I think that, because I'm only opted in on the dreamwidth journal for Earthing news, I'm missing a lot of Earthing-type stories. I just now joined your LJ, could you opt me into the Earthling filter? I think I've read all the DW ones and must catch up!

Whoops! Sorry about that; sometimes I open tabs and they get sort of lost in the general tabbishness around here. (I have between 200 and 400 open at any given time. It's a problem.) But I have definitely added you now, and you should be able to see many many earthling posts!

I am happily already on the Earthling filter (and wil go squee at the birthday post), but i wanted to squee thankfully at the reveal that you were my remixer. I loved what you did with my story. Thank you so much. I feel very fortunate to have you as my remixer.

Oh, thank you! That is so awesome to hear. It was so much fun to get to play with your stories again, and in a different way (I was assigned you in a dS first lines challenge many moons ago!), and the Ferris Bueller story just called to me. I read it first, read other stories, came up with five other ideas, and then sat down and wrote the Ferris remix in one afternoon; the words just happened. That's really rare for me, and I love it, and it was totally a gift that I got from your story, because it spoke to me so clearly. (Of course, I realized *after* I sat down to write that I had no idea how to write a remix, so the actual remixing part was maybe not so successful, but the writing went well, anyway!)

Anyway. Thank you. I had a great time with remix, and with your stories.

I am new-ish here and shamefully haven't even said hello yet - but, yes, as the owner of a couple of earthlings myself I love hearing other people's stories about how they cope with the critters. Would be great to be cut in on the filter if you don't mind!
