Earthling Filter Is a Go

Okay, DW folks: if you signed up for the earthling filter, you should be able to see the latest post. (And if you're not on the filter, this should be the last earthling content you see for quite a while!)

But please let me know if there are any problems - if you can see it and you wish you couldn't, or if you can't but wish you could. I do think I got everyone, but the fact is I was kind of clicking by rote there after a while, and I caught myself a couple of times just about to add someone to the (imported from LJ and apparently never used here or there; I have no idea what all that was about) unfortunately named Tiger Beat filter. I don't want anyone to get tigers who wanted earthlings! Or vice versa, so sing out if you're in that situation.

And I totally sympathize with your desire to be on EVERY filter - I often wish there was a box I could preemptively check that said, "Yes, please add me to ALL your filters" - but I am not adding you to the Tiger Beat one. Not until I figure out what the hell that means, and why I made it.

I admit it, I'm just filtering people out on LJ. People crosspost! Or don't! Or people have posts where I want to see ALL the comments! Filtering out is easier for me.

But I salute your much tidier approach to journal transition!

Oops! I missed seeing the DW filter post, and would prefer to read Adorable Earthling posts here. Though your mention of a Tiger Beat filter makes me wonder just what the Earthling would *do* with a stack of Tiger Beats. Especially if combined with water. >_>

Whoops! For some reason, some people I had previously friended on DW ended up on the earthling filter before there was a DW earthling filter, which is a neat trick. (The filter names transferred over, and I guess some people just got - added? I don't know. Probably I misclicked a lot.)

So it's entirely up to you. I've left you on, but if you decide you'd rather not, of course just say so.

Sorry! For some reason, some people on DW were added to the filter before it actually existed. (The name existed, because the names of my filters were transferred over from LJ, but I'm not sure how people got added to the filters in the early days.) Anyway. You are now off!

So I added your LJ and your OpenID to the filter, and presumably you can now get your fill of earthlinghood. (But I really do remember adding you. The first time around, I mean. Huh. Anyway, sorry!
