It is really amazing the things that are ancient history to the up and coming generation! I think I knew how weird it would be when the earthling was two or three and I was sitting on the playground watching kids pretend to use phones, and they held their palms out flat rather than making the universal telephone receiver hand sign. Because, of course, most of them had never seen that kind of phone.
