It is indeed that future. Well, sort of. It's the only way I can see that future working out in SV canon, anyway. Or maybe it's just the only way it could happen that I'd accept. (BB has developed an estimated 3.3 million Clark and Lex Are Meant to Be Together theories, and that's just from the first season, mind you. There must be slash coming out of their ears in most episodes.)
