there are things I'm unsure of reccing publicly because I don't know how to explain why I'm reccing without giving everything away.
Oh, lord, yes. I actually managed to solve the problem of the Story That Is Perfect That I Can't Rec Without Ruining It by creating the infrequently-used "Surprise" theme (but then, all my themes are little-used, because I have thirty fucking pages of them). In those recs, I natter about unrelated things and hope people read the story anyway.
But the Story That Is Flawed is something I still haven't quite managed to solve. So thanks for the advice; it sounds like a separate, subtly-named category is a good way to go. Hmmm. *ponders*
Also: Library school rocks, but pharmacy school would result in a higher-paying job.
True. And then I wouldn't end up a librarian married to a librarian, which I'm sure is against the law in some states. (Although California allows interlibrarian domestic partnerships; we're fairly liberal about these things.)
But, actually, I think I'd love both schools, because a) fascinating topics! and b) I just love school generally. The thing I can't imagine is what I'd do once I was done with the school part.
