Poll: Fandoms I Have Loved: Reader Input

I'm just curious, really. I have a lot of half-finished FIHL posts sitting on my hard drive - all the ones listed below are somewhere between 1% and 80% complete - and I guess, now that I've finished with Smallville, I'm feeling a little...unfocused.

Pointers, anyone?

ETA: I have already done (in reverse order) Smallville, Stargate: Atlantis, The Fast and the Furious, Oz, Ocean's 11, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Master & Commander, due South, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Sentinel, and Lord of the Rings. Those can all be found at my Fandoms I Have Loved tag.

ETA2: Allow me to smack my forehead in a painful fashion, because I completely forgot to put on the poll two others that I have in progress: Harry Potter and the DCU. Memo to me: no more posting polls late at night.

I will. I did kind of figure that I was just hanging with the wrong people.

But, see, my FIHL would be so intensely Methos-focused that I think I'd be, um. Pilloried by all true HL fans.

Oh, but he's my favorite too. He is compelling. (To me) much more interesting than DM, who's so young and black and white. Methos is just so incredibly layered you can do almost anything with him. He's so much fun.

Actually, that's part of the fun of the HL fandom. There were so many fascinating characters introduced that, even though they didn't get as much attention on screen, they left so much fodder for fanfiction. There are so many stories DM doesn't even appear in. I don't know what "true fans" you're talking about, because I knew plenty that focused on the others. (Contrary to what the finale would have us believe, the Immortal world did not revolve around DM.)

. . . and before I get pilloried (cause it's one thing to focus on one character; it's a completely different thing to come across like I didn't like DM) It wasn't that I didn't like DM. It's because HL was all about DM that I felt by the time the series was done, there wasn't much left to do with him. Canon had pretty much spelled out his whole life, and his character kind of dictated what was to come. But there was endless fun left to have with the others. *rubs hands with evil glee*
