See, I knew that Sports Night was based on SportsCenter, and that there was a SportsCenter book, and yet I didn't make the connection that reading the book might be enjoyable until a couple of weeks ago (just a few days before I came across scrunchy's story, coincidentally). It's like a book-length Sports Night AU! Published in 1997, via time travel!
