Special Slashy 1: One Story, Two Nominations

This is the way the world ends. Not with a bang, but with MPreg.

The Only MPreg I'll Ever Like (Please God Please) AND The Sweetest Snake Story Ever Told: Baby Snakes, by Louise Lux. Good Omens, and I suppose you could say Crowley/OMC. When I found myself actually bookmarking an MPREG story, I realized that truly, a strange and terrible event had come to pass. I suppose this time next week I'll be blithely reading, I don't know, an eleven-part WIP Popslash/Lord of the Rings crossover story featuring Justin/Legolas, Britney/Eowyn, Steven Tyler/Arwen, and Aragorn/OFC/OMC. Or something stranger still.

Hi,

It is Amisha from FT.

So glad you are on LJ. The FF awards is a great idea. I will contribute more once I organize my bookmarks.

Also, I am friending you, if you don't mind.

Amisha, I am thrilled to see you here. Especially since you, long ago, gave me one of the best recommendations I've ever gotten: "Confidence Men." Shan't forget that in a hurry.

Hey this is 6th from Ft.
I'm glad to see you've decided to join the livejournal cult...er..club.
Your recs keep getting better and better, this (http://www.intimations.org/fanfic/master_and_commander/five_things-world.html) is the only male preg that I will admit to reading though I'm sure I've stumbled across more in my slash travels. Damn that shalott for writing fic so good it can't be ignored...she's tricksy that one.

I'm going to friend you because your fab :)

You know I love you, 6th/tlh, but you're tempting me to read another freaking MPreg story? After the way "Baby Snakes" nearly obliterated my will to live and my precious remaining shreds of sanity? Clearly, this is a plot to destroy the universe, and you and Louise Lux and shallott are all in it, and I would set to work to get to the bottom of it, except that I have a lot of reading to do right now.

"an eleven-part WIP Popslash/Lord of the Rings crossover story featuring Justin/Legolas, Britney/Eowyn, Steven Tyler/Arwen, and Aragorn/OFC/OMC."

Squeee! Plot bunny!!!

I kid.

You'd better be kidding.

No, wait, who am I kidding? That story is probably already out there.

But I will not be the brave person to read it.

I friended you, I hope that's okay!

This is, in fact, the sweetest snake story ever told. And the mpreg story most likely to make me go "awwww." And a marvelous and delightful characterization of both Crowley and Aziraphale and I just can't stop grinning when I think about this story.

I mean, come on.

Baby snakes!

Anyway, I also wanted to say hello and introduce myself, and thank you most heartily for this recs journal. I've been browsing through fandoms lately, focused mainly on Buffy and popslash and CSI (LOVE me some CSI), but none of the above are high output, lately. And you've got recs for Good Omens stories! And Fast and the Furious! And Oceans 11! And Stargate, which, I admit, I've only seen the Atlantis version of, but Rodney and John are clearly Meant To Be. Forever. Yes.

I digress. You've amassed a wonderful and amazing list of stories, here, and so far I haven't read a single one that I would not rec myself. Thank you thank you!

Looking forward to have my say
