I'm temporarily disabling anonymous comments to deal with an annoying bot incursion. (I'm growing tired of deleting random chunks of Japanese text about bedding, job-hunting, and Denmark.) If anyone knows another way of curing the bots, I would love to hear about it!

Have you tried turning on captcha for anon comments? I don't know how well that actually works to block anon spam, but I know LJ has it as an option.

I had to do the same thing myself.

I have absolutely no idea what the point of any of that might be.
