[Poll] Housekeeping time

Recently, I've realized that there are a lot of people on DW that I didn't know were on DW. Also, there are people not on the earthling filter on DW who wish to be. Obviously, it is time for some housekeeping. (I know, I know, you can hardly contain your joy. I will wait while you breathe deeply and attempt to stop waving your hands in the air and screaming, "YAAAAAY!")

So. If you're posting on DW, I'd rather read you here; this is the place I read first, and also LJ tends to break a lot, and sometimes it is challenging to comment there. Please let me know you're here!

Also, whether you read primarily at DW or primarily at LJ, you can be on the DW earthling filter. (The earthling filter is where I talk about my awesome kid. There are monthly posts with pictures. It's opt-in so people don't have to hear about his amazingness unless they want to.) If you can't see this earthling-related post, and you'd like to, now is your time to ticky!

Psst - for me, the answer to your second question is "either" but that's not an option :-(.

I have been reading you on LJ because that was the only Earthling filter I was on. (Originally there was no DW Earthling filter? I do not remember.)

But the instant I have DW-Earthling access, I'll switch to reading you on DW.

Hey there, I read your blog on a feed. And I can't fill out this poll without a LJ or DW account! other people who read this on a feed and don't have an account with LJ of DW might have this problem as well.
(also, it seems I can't even post anonymously over on your LJ?)

love love love your posts!

I believe you can fill out the poll with an OpenID.

You might not have one for your own reasons, but if you want a DW account I'll happily send you an invite code; you can send me your email at roga_wind at yahoo.com. (you'll also be able to subscribe to tags to get email notifications of when entries are posted under them, if you don't want to follow a DW reading list on the website.)

On LJ, I had 90 pieces of spam on a single post within a ten minute period. *is still aghast*

I am currently reading you on LJ since I'm not on the dw filter, but would happily switch.

I feel like I should add a "...not that I would be offended if you just gave me access and didn't subscribe" to the second question. (Also my lj has the same content and I'm not against people reading there if they prefer) I was surprised by the huge dw bias in the answers then remembered that I was reading the poll on dreamwidth :)

I read you on both because you allow comments both places and I enjoy reading them.

I thought I was on the DW Earthling filter but wasn't (because I had somehow managed to read you on DW without being suscribed to you, I am clever that way!) But LJ goes down way too much and I would hate to be without an Earthling post!

My answer to question two would also be you can read me at either place. I am getting back into posting now, and will be posting more at DW and less at LJ as time passes I think, so whichever is best for you.

I don't expect you to subscribe to me or grant access; just throwing in votes because polls are fun in case it becomes relevant.

For the reading question, either or neither, as you choose! I have been lurky on LJ/DW of recent months but I always love reading and following your rec posts, and I like kids and so would be very interested in reading about the earthling if you're willing to filter me in.

I post the same things to LJ and DW, with different subject lines. My tagging system on DW is funnier. I am sometimes a little pokier about replying to DW comments. If you read me at all, you're awesome.

I post everything to both, but I hardly expect you to subscribe to me, since I post only rarely, and mostly when I have new podfic to post. But I can't resist the call of a poll!

I think you already know I'm subscribed to your LJ/DW -- and I'm on the Earthling (yay!) filter. Just want to confirm that, yes, I intend to stay subscribed and keep reading.

I check lj more frequently than DW, since I know more people there, but I tend to read your posts on DW as well as lj, for all the commently goodness. My own postings (pretty much nothing but stories) I crosspost. Am looking forward to being on the DW filter as well, so thank you for the poll.

And the earthling continues, as ever, adorable!

I have different content under different names on DW and LJ, so if you really wanted to read me, I suppose you'd read on both, but I don't post very often, and it tends to not be interesting, so it's more an either/neither than both? *lurker pride, whoo!* Also, like a lot of people have said, I like reading on both simply for the comment goodness. :)

I don't mind where you read me, either is fine. And I read you on both, because you usually have comments made of win on both sites.

I noted that you could read me on DW, but FYI since I'm mostly a lurker there's nothing much to read on my journal.

You maybe knew me over on LJ as bardicsidhe, but I mothballed that journal for a number of reasons and set up over here - and yeah, the spam over there was not fun, amen sistah. I miss your earthling posts! *wry* I feel kind of weird because I feel like I know you and I really love reading about your family as well as your fannish life, but I know you really don't know me, because I've been mostly too shy to comment much.

So when i hit reply it tells me I'm logged in and can reply as my username, nimnod. However! When I try and click on the link to the Earthling post it tells me i must be logged in to view that post. Any idea what's with that? I can tell if I'm on the filter on DW or not.

I have been reading you on LJ because that's where I can read Earthling posts, but I think I've subscribed to you both places, and if I could read Earthling posts on DW I would read you there exclusively!

(I am anniegee over at livejournal; I don't post a lot but I lurk quite a bit. I have a little boy about a year younger than Earthling who is likewise obsessed with trucks and cars and things that go, so it's like seeing my future!)

I read you on LJ (my account on LJ is the same as my DW one -- and, irrespective of nothing, the abbreviation for DW always throws me for a loop because my default setting for DW is the short form for Doctor Who) and would love to be put on the earthling filter on DW.

I read you on both DW and LJ but I'm planning on getting rid of my LJ soon, so. I'm mostly a lurker and don't post a lot (so there's not much to read on my DW), but I would love to be on the earthling filter. The "safe banana" post cracked my shit up and OMG I LOVE CUTE BABIES.

I read you on both (like others, for the comments too) but I'm mostly a lurker anyway so my answer to your second question would probably be either one since I crosspost on the rare times that I do (I'm ruciful over at LJ, and the posts there are really old/unintersting).

I guess I'm commenting now because I would like to be added to the Earthling filter as well, if you don't mind.
