[Poll] Housekeeping time

Recently, I've realized that there are a lot of people on DW that I didn't know were on DW. Also, there are people not on the earthling filter on DW who wish to be. Obviously, it is time for some housekeeping. (I know, I know, you can hardly contain your joy. I will wait while you breathe deeply and attempt to stop waving your hands in the air and screaming, "YAAAAAY!")

So. If you're posting on DW, I'd rather read you here; this is the place I read first, and also LJ tends to break a lot, and sometimes it is challenging to comment there. Please let me know you're here!

Also, whether you read primarily at DW or primarily at LJ, you can be on the DW earthling filter. (The earthling filter is where I talk about my awesome kid. There are monthly posts with pictures. It's opt-in so people don't have to hear about his amazingness unless they want to.) If you can't see this earthling-related post, and you'd like to, now is your time to ticky!

Hey there, I read your blog on a feed. And I can't fill out this poll without a LJ or DW account! other people who read this on a feed and don't have an account with LJ of DW might have this problem as well.
(also, it seems I can't even post anonymously over on your LJ?)

I'm sorry, anonymous! I can't leave anon commenting on on LJ for now; the spam was making me absolutely batshit crazy and taking up a huge chunk of my fannish time. The day I deleted 30 pieces of it before getting to any of my actual email and comments, I realized the spammers had won. So for the moment, anon commenting on DW only. I am hoping LJ manages to deal with its spam problem, so I can turn anon commenting back on there, too.

And if you'd like a DW account for poll-taking purposes (because, yeah, no way for an anon party to take a poll, sadly), I have invites and would be happy to send one your way.

On LJ, I had 90 pieces of spam on a single post within a ten minute period. *is still aghast*
