Doesn't help. When you say Whoniverse, I still expect the Doctor to join hands with all his companions and sing "Fa who dor ray" (or however it goes) and then eat some roast beast.

...I suppose the Master would be playing the part of the Grinch. WAIT NO STOP I AM NOT THINKING ABOUT THIS ANYMORE.

The plot of last year's Doctor Who Christmas special was pretty much "spaceship falls, everyone dies," so . . . maybe not.
