Poll: Vid Watching

This is the counterpart to the poll I posted earlier. (It, uh, had to undergo some revisions after the results of that poll.) And this one is for anyone who has ever seen a vid.

Again, feel totally free to pimp. I'd love to get a range of responses on this one.

After this, there'll be a round of vid meta coming out, but then I swear we'll go back to fan fiction. I'm really starting to miss recommending the written word.

Oh. My. God.

Okay I have, like, 3 GB? I think? But, then I am very very picky about what I keep and I stay away from Anime like it's the plague. (I honestly thought 170 vids was a lot. Which, for having been mostly found in the last 4 months is kind of a lot. Right?)

(So, wow. I am removing my palm from my face. And probably going to promptly go to MMWD's recs list and, like, download them all because obviously I am falling behind and am a bad bad fan. *g*)

You aren't actually required to have as many GB as me. (Or taverymate; she's been at this for a long time, and, sadly, I don't think we'll ever catch up with her.) But you should definitely download the ones from MMWD's list, because there are some great vids there. (And some sucky ones - I didn't agree with all the recs. But, really, it's a fascinating and lovely roundup.)

And, yeah, pickiness is nice. I tend to - when I'm first getting into a fandom, I default to keeping the vid if there's anything good about it at all. And then, when I've seen enough vids for it (usually about six months later), I go through the fandom's folder, rewatch them all, and generally delete about half. After that point, I'm much pickier.

Also: You avoid anime vids? But why? They are brilliance! Sometimes! And some of them should not be missed!

Obviously, I must pimp AMVs harder. Certain people are not getting the message.

No, see, I went and DLed the recs you've already done. And I watched them. And I didn't delete them and then I watched them again. And again, and again. And really finally had to admit I didn't like them at all.

I kept Waka Laka cause I didn't hate it, and...Here Comes the Sun...cause I've seen most of those films and like them so that one was cool. (And my step son loves Anime and he thinks those two vids are, like, the best ever.)

So, okay. AMV's for people who are really really picky Anime watchers?
