Sadly enough, this is the thread that gets me to delurk. If I may offer some alternate Japanese translations (all use simple verbs without compound characters, conjugated into imperative):

Yokoso (ようこそ)

Yonde (読んで)

Listen
Kiite (聞いて)

Create
Tsukutte (作って)

Explore
Sagashite (探して) Literally closer to "Look for"
Shirabete (調べて) Literally closer to "Examine/Investigate"
